Happy 615 Day Nashville!!
Today is a day to celebrate all that our wonderful city is and has to offer. As well as the amazing people who work hard every day to make this city the destination it is. We are so blessed to call Nashville our home and place of work and we hope you feel the same. This blog post's purpose is to highlight a few of the staples that make this city so special. We hope you will take the time to support these local establishments and organizations!
The Bridge Inc.
The Bridge is an organization that is working hard to better the lives of Nashvillians. They provide food for several low income housing units around the city, the houseless community and around 4,700 kids a week who experience food insecurity at home. Their Mission Statement reads, "THE BRIDGE, INC. exists to alleviate the suffering of underprivileged children, the homeless, and the working poor by providing life-sustaining resources and a message of hope." There are several ways that we as Nashville residents can help their mission. You can sign up on the website to volunteer your time during one of the many outreaches throughout the week, or you can donate resources at their website as well. A great way to give back to our neighbors!

Prince's Hot Chicken
Arguably the best hot chicken Nashville has to offer, Prince's Hot Chicken has been around for 100 years! Truly a Nashville staple. Thornton Prince started this restaurant and his great niece Ms. Andre Prince Jeffries has taken over and continued the amazing legacy her great uncle started. Prince's has locations off of Nolensville Pike as well as Fifth and Broadway's Assembly Food Hall. See their website for more on their offerings, locations and origin story! Go check out some Hot Chicken!!

12 South
When it comes to shopping, 12 South is the place to be! There are so many stores (majority of them local to Nashville) in this beautiful neighborhood. 12th S Ave is home to plenty of stores and restaurants to fit everyone's vibes! Also a wonderful place to walk on a beautiful day and check out some of the most sought after homes in the city. 12 South boasts both old/charming and new/modern homes that are very fun to look at. A great way to spend a weekend day supporting local restaurants and stores!

The Listening Room
You don't have Nashville without live music! Truly the heart of the city is the plethora of live music and talented musicians and songwriters living in this city. One of the best venues for live music is The Listening Room in downtown Nashville off-broadway. This venue has great food/drinks and even better entertainment with some of the best up and coming musicians the city has to offer. And sometimes the more well-known artists pop in for a show as well. The Listening Room has been a Nashville staple since 2006 and a must visit if you are looking for a great night of food, drinks and live music!!

Fifth and Broadway
Last but certainly not least is Fifth and Broadway!! This awesome mini Times Square is located at (you guessed it!) Fifth Ave and Broadway intersection downtown. F&B has everything you could think of, restaurants, a food hall, boutiques, cowboy boot stores, ear piercing, an Apple Store etc!! Whether you are staying downtown and don't want to venture to the broadway bars or you are partying on broadway but need a break, Fifth and Broadway can fit almost every need you may have. They have multiple event spaces as well for any event you may need to host!!
